SUMMER PLANS
Summer is the longest break in the academic year. People go abroad on holiday and find ways to soak in the sun. My summer is slightly different.
I have various different projects to keep me busy over the summer. From directing my films and acting, to writing a new book and being involved in a huge project, involving fashion.
At work, I am friend's with my manager, who is also a fashion expert. Recently, she was asking me for ideas on how to start a YouTube channel. She also wanted to know how to get her brand out for the public to see and enlisted my help. My job is to update her current material to fit with a more modern approach. I have recently took to researching the fashion industry and how I can create a blog/website that will stand out against existing fashion blogs. I am going to regularly update this as I go through the research and creative stage.

A Short Film
One of the biggest projects of summer is my short film. I have spent month developing this idea and producing the script for it. You can find out more details on the Her Name page of this website but I am incredibly excited to start this project as it means a lot to me, not just in a creative sense but in a personal sense too.
Publishing
A Book Publish
This book, Galaxy, has been one of the most important projects of my life. I have wrote short stories and other books before but this one is the most important to me. I am aiming to have a publish date some time in August. For four years I have worked on this project and I am nervous but excited to show it to the world.
Acting
In A Short Film
I have been excited for this project since I was casted at the beginning of this year. I am going to be playing the lead character in a short film. The character is also the only character and the film uses no dialogue, meaning that the film will rely heavily on my acting ability. I can relate heavily to the scene that the film centres around and i look forward to this.

The first of my major collaborations with a friend. This summer, I am teaming up with my manager from work I discussed this earlier at the top of this page but I am incredibly excited to do something outside of my own comfort zone.
We Met On A Thursday
An short film adaptation
During summer, I am going to be adapting one of my books as a screenplay. We Met On A Thursday is my debut book, which also trended number ten on the writing app, Wattpad. I wasn't too sure if I wanted to adapt it at the start because I knew that these characters were already alive within the book so bringing them alive again within another form of writing was going to be a task but I am glad I decided to.
Another Short Film
A Coming-Of-Age
Coming-of-age is my favourite genre to watch as well as direct. in the next few weeks, I am going to be working alongside a close friend to develop a short film. We are going to write it together, direct it together and I am also going to be acting in the film as well. We both have plot ideas and have emailed each other or ideas so we are looking forward to see where this project will go.
